EasyJet the UK’s national airline

Today, 16th March 2010 EasyJet issued a communiqué announcing that it is the UK’s national airline. The results announced by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) clearly indicate that EasyJet is the largest airline in UK. Last year, more than 28 million passengers travelled with EasyJet from all airports across UK. The airline company EasyJet is the foremost airline across many airports across Europe including Milan Malpensa in Italy and the second largest in both Switzerland and France. In 2009, EasyJet flew more than 28 million passengers and plans to fly over 50 million passengers in 2010. The chief executive declared that UK’s national airline EasyJet comes from a vote on the part of passengers. EasyJet offers flights and air ticket Madrid, Copenhagen and to many more cities across 29 countries in Europe.

Qantas removes fuel surcharges

On the 30th December 2008 the airline company, Qantas airways has declared that it will remove its domestic fuel surcharges for plane tickets issued on or after the 1st January 2009. The national airline of Australia, Qantas is responding with the removal of $18 per sector fuel surcharge applied to Qantas domestic flights. There has been an increase of 20% as today a barrel of oil cost US$40.
