Today 21 Novimber 2011, the blacklist of airlines has just been updated by the European Commission. European Commission has just released this new Black List of airlines issued in Novmeber 2011. In this edition of the Black List of airlines we note the addition of all carriers as well as any new airlines. By updating adopted today, the company TAAG Angolan Airlines is allowed to operate in the EU two modern aircraft B-777-300, which has been shown to be safely managed by the carrier air, which controls their activities appropriately. The Commission and the Air Safety Committee were very concerned about the safety performance of air carriers and their Albanian authorities. Following the formal commitment by the Albanian authorities to employ full-time qualified staff to ensure continuous monitoring of air carriers under their control, combined with draconian enforcement measures (withdrawal of Air Operator Certificate and withdrawal of Albanian Airlines aircraft fleet Belle Air), the Aviation Safety Committee has unanimously supported the proposal from the Commission to take no action. Member States, including Italy, have agreed to further strengthen their ongoing cooperation with Albania, providing technical assistance focused on improving surveillance.
