The European Commission has published its 20th edition of the black list of airlines. The airlines added in the black list include ERITREAN AIRLINES and NASAIR ERITREA of Eritrea, CANADIAN AIRWAYS CONGO, EMERALD, EQUAJET, MISTRAL AVIATION of Congo, AIR FAST CONGO, CONGO FLY and WILL AIRLIFT of the democratic of Congo (DRC), TANGO Equatorial Guinea AIRWAYS, AIR BORN INDONESIA, ANGKASA SUPER SERVICES, CITILINK INDONESIA, HEAVY LIFT, JAYAWIJAYA DIRGANTARA, ROYAL PACIFIC AIRWAYS, AIR PEGASUS SERVICES of the Republic of Indonesia. STATE AVIATION ENTERPRISE (SAEMES) MANAS AIRWAYS KG SKY AIRLINES, AVIATION SUPREME of the Kyrgyz Republic and AIRGURUS, SKYJET, SOUTHWEST AIR CORPORATION Republic of the Philippines.

Airlines removed in the 20th Black List edition

The European Commission has updated 4 December 2012 the blacklist of airlines prohibited access in the European Union. The two airlines which are no longer included in the 20th edition of the black list December 2012 include 1 Mauritania (Mauritania Airways) and 1 of the Jordan (Jordan Aviation). These airlines are removed in the 20th edition of the black list December 2012 and on the basis of evidence the cessation of their activities.

The list of air carriers which have also been updated to remove some airlines that are no longer exist or to include new carriers created recently. The countries concerning are the following: Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Honduras, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines and Rwanda.

On the 3rd of April 2012, the blacklist of airlines has been updated by the European Commission. European Commission has just released this new Black List of airlines issued in April 2012. In this Black List of Airlines April 2012 we note the addition of 15 airlines and the removal of 9 others. Additionally, we also note 11 air carriers which are subject to operational restrictions and allowed to operate into the EU under strict conditions: Air Astana from Kazakhstan as mentioned before, Air Koryo from the Democratic People Republic of Korea, Airlift International from Ghana, Air Service Comores, Afrijet, Gabon Airlines and SN2AG from Gabon, Iran Air, TAAG Angolan Airlines, Air Madagascar and Jordan Aviation.
