On 24th February 2010, Alaska Airlines proclaimed that it will offer in-flight wifi onboard of its flights. Alaska Airlines in-flight wifi is offered by Aircell’s Gogo® Inflight Internet. In-flight wifi will first be installed on a Boeing 737-800 of Alaska Airlines and both Aircell and the carrier will verify if it goes work and the Federal Aviation Administration will certify this. Alaska Airlines offers a minimum rate of £ 3.22 ($4.95) in order to access in-flight wifi.

Passengers will benefit from additional flights from Saint Denis to the Thailand capital, Bangkok with the Reunion Island based airline, Air Austral.
