Ethiopian Airlines, the national airline of Ethiopia announced that its flight ET-409 carrying 82 passengers and 8 crew members on board the flight between Beirut and Addis Ababa has gone missing. Moreover due to the missing flight ET-409 which was operating the flight between Beirut and Addis Ababa on Monday the 25th of June 2010, Ethiopian Airlines has made available a hotline number for families for all matters concerning the missing flight of Ethiopian Airlines.

On 25^th December, Delta Airlines issued a statement regarding the incident that happened onboard of Northwest Airlines flight 253. Northwest Airlines flight 253 took off from Amsterdam and was to land in Detroit. The incident was caused on Northwest Airlines flight 253 that was operated by an Airbus A330-300 carrying 278 passengers. Northwest Airlines flight 253 incident involved a passenger who was instantly over powered by the crew members and upon arrival he was handed over to the police authorities.
