The airline based in Australia, Regional Express Airlines will be proposing as from 1st October 2009, flights between Townsville and Mackay. Regional Express Airlines to Townsville and Mackay will be onboard of a SAAB 340 turboprop aircraft which can carry 34 passengers. The flights will depart from Townsville between 7:05a.m and 5:10p.m to reach Mackay between 8:10a.m and 6:15p.m whereas the return flights will depart from Mackay between 8:40a.m and 6:45p.m to land at Townsville between 9:45a.m and 7:50p.m. Regional Express Airlines between Townsville and Mackay will be available 3 times daily except on Wednesdays. The one-way fare will be offered at $129 (£77) for the flights from Townsville to Mackay.
