With the code share agreement, Finnair’s passengers can benefit from better flights connection in the network of Jet Star in Osaka, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Tokyo, with Singapore that will be added to the network in May 2011 that will be operated using the Airbus A330 aircraft of Finnair. Finnair code share with Jet Star will improve the service and capacity for the flights route between Australia and New Zealand. With Finnair and Qantas in code share passengers will be able to book flights with one airline and travel with the other carrier on the code share routes. Starting in May 2011 when Finnair will launch its daily flights to Singapore, Finnair and Qantas will begin to code share on flights from Helsinki to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide via Singapore. Starting in February 2011 Finnair and Qantas Airways will launch code share flights between Helsinki and Sydney via Bangkok. Prior to the code share agreement both Finnair and Qantas Airways will place their code on flights via Bangkok or Singapore. Finnair, the flag carrier of Finland will launch flights to Gdansk from Helsinki. Finnair Gdansk flights will be launched on 27th March 2011. The flights to Gdansk proposed by Finnair will be carried out on a daily basis by Fincomm Airlines ATR. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays Finnair flights will depart for Gdansk at 0945hrs and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 1640hrs. The return flights of Finnair will then leave from Gdansk for Helsinki at 1115hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and at 1810hrs on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Besides the flights that will soon be launched to Gdansk Finnair offers air ticket Warsaw and air ticket Krakow in Poland. Thus Gdansk becomes the third city that Finnair will fly to.
