The air tickets mentioned above is already on sale by US Airways. Not to forget, both carriers US Airways and Spanair are member of Star Alliance. The airline based in Singapore and member of Star Alliance, Singapore Airlines has signed a code share agreement with the Spanish airline and also member of Star Alliance, Spanair. Singapore Airlines code share Spanair will take effect as from 17th May 2010. Following the code share agreement signed between the two carriers, passengers of Singapore Airlines will benefit from Spanair’s routes from Barcelona to Madrid, from Barcelona to Palma Mallorca and from Barcelona to Bilbao. In the same way, Spanair passengers will benefit from the code share agreement on the route to Singapore from Spain via Barcelona. Besides signing a code share with Spanair, Singapore Airlines has various code share agreements with airlines such as Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, US Airways and many more. Even on the flights that will be code shared with Spanair, passengers will be provided a large choice of Singapore Airlines onboard services. One of the routes that will be code shared between Singapore Airlines and Spanair will be Madrid, the Spanish capital which has art galleries, museums that travelers will be able to visit.

Turkish Airlines, the national airline of Turkey has signed a code share agreement with the airline based in Spain, Spanair. Moreover Turkish Airlines code share Spanair agreement will be effective only as from 1st February 2010. Hence under the code share agreement between Turkish Airlines and Spanair, Turkish airlines will place its 2 letter code ‘TK’ on several flights operated by Spainair and on the other hand Spainair will place its 2 letter code ‘JK’ on several flights operated by Turkish Airlines. Moreover flights between Istanbul and Barcelona, Istanbul and Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga, Barcelona and Seville and many others will be offered to passengers under the code share agreement between Turkish Airlines and Spanair.
