The airline based in Ireland, Ryanair announced the opening of its 34th base at Leeds Bradford for March 2010. Ryanair at Leeds Bradford will offer to its passengers 14 new destinations and 3 existing destinations at low fares that is £10 and £5 respectively. The return flights of Ryanair to and from Leeds Bradford will be available on a weekly basis and two new aircrafts will be operated by the airline. The new flights from Leeds Bradford by Ryanair will be proposed to Carcassonne, Faro, Ibiza, Knock, Krakow, Limoges, Malaga, Malta, Montpellier, Murcia, Nantes, Palma, Pisa and Venice Treviso.

The Leeds Bradford based airline, Jet2.com is making available promotional flights from Manchester to Alicante, Lanzarote, Faro (The Algarve), Malaga, Murcia, and Tenerife starting as from £29.99 and promotional flights from Leeds Bradford to Ibiza as from £29.99. Jet2.com cheap air tickets are already on sale for the summer 2010 flights. Nevertheless Jet2.com promotional flights are for a one way ticket only.

Since 29th June 2009 the airline based in the United Kingdom British Midlands Airways (Bmi) is making available flights departing from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Leeds Bradford. The flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh will be operated from Monday to Friday at different time. In other words Bmi from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Leeds Bradford flights will depart from Edinburgh at two different time that is at 07.00 and 17.45 to arrive again in Leeds Bradford at two different time 08.00and 18.40. In addition the bmi flights from Glasgow will take off at 07.10 and 17.00 in a row to reach in Leeds Bradford at 08.10 and 17.55 consecutively. Moreover Bmi is offering double miles for all the members of bmi’s Diamond Club making a return flight until 31st July 2009 on all United Kingdom and European short haul routes. Thus Bmi’s Diamond Club will earn a supplementary 4000 destinations miles on every return flight. In other words bmi Diamond Club members will earn an additional 3000 miles when travelling on the Economy Class for any return flight and members travelling on the Low Economy class will receive an additional of 1000 miles.
