Etihad Airways and Garuda Indonesia signed codeshare agreement. The new agreement will enable Etihad Airways to codeshare on Garuda Indonesia flights operated from Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur and Denpasar. Meanwhile Garuda Indonesia will perform on Etihad Airways flights operated to many cities across Africa, Europe, North America and many more. Following the codeshare/Sharing code agreement Etihad Airways and Garuda Indonesia, this will provide Garuda Indonesia travelers to connect easily on Etihad Airways flight-operated to many destinations across Middle East, Levant, GCC and also in the Asia sector.

The carrier based in Singapore and member of Star Alliance, Singapore Airlines has signed a code share agreement with Garuda Indonesia, based in Indonesia. Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia code share has been announced on 25th November 2010 and will take effect as from 1st December 2010. Following the code share signed, Singapore Airlines will place its two letter code ‘SQ’ on flights between Singapore and Denpasar and also between Denpasar and Singapore operated by Garuda Indonesia. Garuda Indonesia will also code share flights between Singapore and Denpasar and also between Denpasar and Singapore operated by Singapore Airlines. Due to the code share signed, passengers of both Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia will be offered better flights connections between Bali and Singapore.
