Based in South Korea, Korean Air has launched its Android application. Korean Air Android application is available since 29th July 2010. The Android application of Korean Air enables passengers to manage their reservations, bookings and also to find a flight at the last minute and can also get the latest updates about air traffic with just one touch, similar to the iPhone launched by Korean Air in May this year. Like Korean Air application on iPhone, the Android application offers passengers the possibility to know about their flight status and flight schedules, seat availability onboard, air fares and can also check the status of their ‘Skypass’ account. Korean Air Android application is available in four languages like the iPhone application, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and English and can be downloaded for free from the Android market. With this Android application, the carrier will also propose passengers to choose their seats in order to have more comfort as Korean Air onboard services. To recall, Air Valid helps passengers with luggage Korean Air thus making passengers know how much weight and bags both as checked and cabin luggage they are entitled to on different flights.
