Croatia Airlines, national airline of Croatia and member of Star Alliance has launched flights from Zagreb to the Greek capital, Athens. Croatia Airlines Athens flights from Zagreb took effect since 2nd June 2010. Croatia Airlines will operate three flights per week from Zagreb to Athens on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Croatia Airlines flights depart from Zagreb at 15.25 and touches down in Athens at 17.15. The return flights then leave from Athens at 18.05 and reaches Zagreb at 20.05. Zagreb flights to Athens will be carried out by an Airbus A319 on which passengers will be proposed Croatia Airlines in-flight entertainment in order to make their trip a pleasant one. The flights to Zagreb are being operated with Iberia since 4th July 2009 and Iberia has resumed its flights between Madrid and Dubrovnik since 16th June 2009. Iberia will operate the flights to Zagreb in Croatia twice a week and the flights between Madrid and Dubrovnik will be operated by Iberia thrice a week. In other words Iberia will fly to Zagreb on Saturdays and Sundays and the flights to Dubrovnik will be operated by Iberia on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Iberia flights to Zagreb will be operated until 20th September 2009 and Iberia flights to Dubrovnik will be operated until 29th September. Iberia flights to Zagreb and Dubrovnik will carry passengers on board of the Airbus A320.
