The airline based in Barcelona, Vueling publishes its figures 2009. The low cost airline based in Spain, Vueling carried a total of 8.2 million of passengers in 2009. In addition Vueling announced that it has recorded an average load factor of 73.7%, an increase of 3.4% over the year 2008. Furthermore the passenger volume has increased greatly through its merging with Clickair the airline based in Spain as well and also reducing its flight plan after the decline in 2008.

Vueling, the low cost airline based in Spain proclaimed to all its passengers that will transfers all its flight operation from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Roissy Charles de Gaulle.  Vueling from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 Roissy Charles de Gaulle flight operations will be effective as from today, Monday 11th January 2010. In addition in order for Vueling to provide more suitable access to all its passengers, Vueling decided to transfer its flight operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at Roissy Charles de Gaulle. Furthermore Vueling also announced that besides Vueling flight operations from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 with at Roissy Charles de Gaulle, Vueling is also making transfers for all flights to Seville to take off from Orly West Airport instead of Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Since 9th September 2009 the low cost airline based in Barcelona Vueling has shifted all its operations to the new Terminal 1 at El Prat airport at Barcelona. Vueling shifts to Terminal 1 at Barcelona will allow the airline to operate flights taking off from Catalan to 35 destinations and will carry 20 000 passengers daily. Hence with the shifting of Vueling’s operations at Terminal 1 in Barcelona will permit the airline to fly to Paris with 14 daily flights and to Madrid with 24 daily flights. Vueling is the first truly international airline on the Barcelona airport.
