The United Kingdom based airline, Virgin Atlantic will extend its wings to the capital of Ghana, Accra from the British capital, London as from 24th May 2010. Virgin Atlantic London flights to Accra will be carried out by Airbus A340-300 in a three class configuration, 34 seats in business class, 35 seats in premium economy and 171 seats in economy class. The return flights will then head off from Accra on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 10 15 hours and will arrive in London at 18 00 hours. Accra is the fifth African city that will be served by Virgin Atlantic.
