The flag carrier airline of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airways obtains its IOSA certificate. In other words Uzbekistan Airways in now comprised into the Register of IOSO (IATA Operational Safety Audit) operators after the official confirmation of the IATA (International Air Transport Association). The IOSA certificate to Uzbekistan Airways as it has effectively succeeded the International Audit procedure on fulfilment with the principles of aviation safety and therefore confirmed that Uzbekistan Airways operations have fully met the requests of IATA.

The flag carrier airline of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Airways has signed a code share agreement with Czech Airlines the Czech national airline. Thus under Uzbekistan Airways and Czech Airlines code share agreement, Czech Airlines will now have the chance to provide flight between Prague and Tashkent to all its passengers. The flight between flight between Prague and Tashkent which will be operated under this code share agreement between Uzbekistan Airways and Czech Airlines will be operated 2 times a week. Thus Uzbekistan Airways code share flight between Prague and Tashkent with Czech Airlines will be take off from Prague on Mondays and Thursdays and will depart from Tashkent on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The airline based in South Korea, Korean Air and Uzbekistan Airways, the airline based in Ouzbékistan declared the extension of their code share agreement since 13th July 2009. Korean Air code share agreement with Uzbekistan Airways is meant so as to achieve a reciprocal sales agreement between both airlines without limitation. So far, the code share agreement between Korean Air and Uzbekistan Airways worked one way only, allowing only Uzbekistan Airways flights to market in Korean Air flight number and code HY. Korean Air presently operates three weekly flights between the international airport of Incheon and Seoul-Tashkent, while Uzbekistan Airways offers two weekly flights on the same axis.
