The low cost airline based in Ireland, Ryanair announced since 29th July 2009 that it will serve 39 new roundtrip destinations to Canary Islands as from October 2009. Ryanair roundtrip to Canary Islands will thus offer to its passengers 16 new destinations to Gran Canaria, 15 new destinations to Lanzarote and 8 new destinations to Tenerife. Ryanair new roundtrip flights to Canary Islands will propose more low fares, more competition and also more passengers for the Canary Islands. These new destinations to the Canary Islands will bring 2 million new passengers and create 2,000 new jobs.

The airline based in Mumbai, Jet Airways launches cheap fare for its roundtrip flight from Mumbai to Bangkok as from the 16th August 2009. Jet Airways cheap fare for its return ticket in economic class is proposed at INR 4388 (£55.15). Jet Airways will also offer a special Premiere fare of INR 25000 (£314.19) for its one way ticket effective until 30th September 2009. The flight from Mumbai to Bangkok will depart from Mumbai at 13:05p.m to reach Bangkok at 18:55p.m and the return flight will depart from Bangkok at 20:55p.m to land at Mumbai at 23:40p.m.
