As from 13th May 2010, US Airways will propose new nonstop flights from Charlotte to Rome. These new flights from Charlotte to Rome will be operated daily by US Airways’ Airbus A330-300 with a seating capacity for 288 passengers. US Airways flights will take off from Charlotte at 6.15 pm and will land in Rome at 9.30am the next morning. The return flight will then depart from Rome at 10.55 am and will reach Charlotte at 3.45 pm.

United Airlines, member of Star Alliance will offer new flight from Chicago to Rome. The new flight from Chicago to Rome will begin as from 1st May 2010. United Airlines flight United 904 will take off from Chicago at 6.25 pm and will reach Rome at 10.40 am the next morning. The return flight will depart from Rome at 12.30 pm and will land in Chicago at 4.05 pm. The flight from Chicago to Rome will be operated by United Airlines’ Boeing 767. The flight from Chicago to Rome by United Airlines is a seasonal flight that will end on 31st August 2010.

As from 20th September 2009 the low cost airline Wizz Air based in Hungary is making available new flights from Bratislava to Rome. Wizz Air from Bratislava to Rome flights will be operated on the new Airbus A320 of Wizz Air. Wizz Air is also offering a promotional flight ticket as from 19.99€ (£17). The carrier Wizz Air has a fleet of 25 Airbus A320 and operated from 11 bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
