Based in Mumbai, Kingfisher Airlines will join  Oneworld ® alliance. However, Kingfisher Airlines has not mentioned any dates on which it will join the Oneworld ® alliance. Kingfisher Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding to join Oneworld ® alliance but approval has to be given by the Indian Authorities.

In addition a total of 727 destinations in 142 countries are being offered by the Oneworld ® alliance. Furthermore the Oneworld ® alliance was nominated as the best alliance in the year 2002. Besides 8387 daily departures with 328, 182 million passengers on a fleet of 2280 aircraft are provided by the Oneworld ® alliance.
