These mobile boarding pass have a 2 dimensional code that provides information about both the flight and the passenger. Continental Airlines flies from New York to London Heathrow thrice per day and twice per day from Houston. Besides the newly service of mobile boarding pass, passengers also benefit from a wide choice of in-flight entertainment by Continental Airlines. Besides London Heathrow, Continental Airlines also offers air tickets to Manchester , Birmingham and Bristol.

In other words Finnair new Mobile Boarding Pass allows all the passengers to Finnair to receive an SMS on their mobile phone announcing to them their confirmation of their booking and also a link which give the chance to the passengers of Finnair to download ther new Mobile Boarding Pass. Moreover the new Mobile Boarding Pass proposed by Finnair is applicable to the destinations in the domestic network of Finnair and Finncomm taking off from Findland and to destinations such as Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Prague, Vilnius, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, London, Manchester and Stockholm.

The flag carrier of Germany, Lufthansa is now making available mobile boarding pass on long haul flights such as between Frankfurt and Vancouver. The mobile boarding pass proposed by Lufthansa is a way of checking in with an electronic boarding pass instead of a printed paper document. The mobile boarding pass will slowly but surely expanded to more long haul flights over the next few weeks. Since Lufthansa provides the mobile boarding pass, there have been more than 75,000 passengers a month using the mobile boarding pass.
