The low-cost airline based in Poland, Wizz Air proposes a new Airbus A320 aircraft as from the 17th December 2009. Wizz Air will develop its base in Gdansk and launch new destinations as soon as Wizz Air Airbus A320 aircraft will start its operations. As from 17th December, Wizz Air will launch two more flights, that is: to Milan Bergamo twice weekly flights and Eindhoven thrice weekly flights. Wizz Air launched its first flight from Gdansk in August 2004 and opened a base in March 2006 with one Airbus A320. The second Airbus A320 aircraft of Wizz Air was put into operation in July 2007. In the last 5 years Wizz Air has carried almost 2, 5 million passengers to and from Gdansk onboard the aircrafts Airbus A320.
