Korean Air announces the delivery of its new Airbus A380. Korean Air first Airbus A380 will be delivered in the second quarter 2011. Korean Air will be the sixth company in the world to operate the double Decker Airbus A380 aircraft. Korean Air will be delivered its new A380 aircraft out of 10 Airbus A380 initially ordered. The first Airbus A380 will be used for flights between Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Bangkok. Later this year Korean Airbus A380 will be used on transpacific routes and will offer air ticket New York and Los Angeles. The new Airbus A380 maiden flight will start on 1st June 2011 departing Seoul Incheon at 10hr10 to Tokyo Narita. The new Airbus A380 will be equipped with 407 seats among which 12 are in First class, 301 in Economy class and 94 seats in Prestige class.
