The carriers based in Kenya and India, Kenya Airways and Jet Airways respectively have signed a code share agreement. Kenya Airways and Jet Airways code share will come into effect as from 22nd July 2010. Following the code share signed, passengers of both Kenya Airways and Jet Airways will be able to earn and redeem miles. On flights operated by Kenya Airways between Nairobi and Mumbai, Jet Airways will place its two letter code on these flights. With this new code share signed between Jet Airways and Kenya Airways passengers will be provided with better flights connections. To recall, Air Valid helps passengers with luggage Kenya Airways thus making passengers know how much weight and bags both as checked and cabin luggage they are entitled to on different flights.

Kenya Airways, the flag carrier airline of Kenya is resumes flight to Kisumu. The flight to Kisumu resumed by Kenya Airways will depart from Nairobi. However Kenya Airways flight to Kisumu taking off from Nairobi will be effective as from 10th December 2009 until 20th December 2009. Kenya Airways flight between Kisumu and Nairobi will be operated with 2 daily flights daily. Kenya Airways flight to Kisumu departing from Nairobi will take off from 7.10 a.m. and 5.05 p.m. respectively and will depart from Kisumu to Nairobi at 8.30 a.m. and 6.20 p.m. Furthermore Kenya Airways flight between Nairobi and Kisumu will be operated on the aircraft of Kenya Airways, the Embraer E170 having a seating capacity of 72 passengers.
