Finnair, the national carrier based in Finland and Jet Star are going into a code share agreement. Finnair and Jet Star code share agreement will provide passengers with better flights connections and to more routes between in the Asia-Pacific network. The code share agreement allows passengers to purchase flights tickets with Jet Star Airways, Jet Star Asia, Jet Star Pacific and Valuair for travel with Finnair. With the code share agreement, Finnair’s passengers can benefit from better flights connection in the network of Jet Star in Osaka, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Tokyo, with Singapore that will be added to the network in May 2011 that will be operated using the Airbus A330 aircraft of Finnair. Finnair code share with Jet Star will improve the service and capacity for the flights route between Australia and New Zealand. To recall, Air Valid provides passengers with information on luggage Finnair so that passengers are aware of the amount and weight of luggage they are entitled to on different type of flights in different classes.

Jet Star, the airline based in Australia and Air Asia, the airline based in Malaysia announced that they have signed a code share agreement. Moreover both Jet Star and Air Asia is a low cost airline. Hence it is the first time that two lost cost airlines have signed a code share agreement. In addition the cost of Jet Star and Air Asia will be reduced as Jet Star and Air Asia in partnership. Further more Jet Star and Air Asia will simultaneously increase their effectiveness. Jet Star and Air Asia partnership agreement has been officially signed in Sydney, Australia on 6th January 2010. Thus under this partnership agreement, Jet Star and Air Asia offer for his partnership agreement for the joint procurement of the next generation aircraft and reciprocal arrangements for the management of their passengers if ever there is a flight disruptions.
