AeroMobile achieves certification on the 6th model aircraft, the Boeing 777-300ER. AeroMobile also plans to launch the AeroMobile system on other model of aircrafts including the Airbus A330, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A340-500, and the Boeings 777-200 and 777-300. AeroMobile will soon be introduced on Emirates thus allowing the airline to improve In-flight Emirates services. AeroMobile is one of the leading in-flight communications.

On 20th March 2008, AeroMobile was launched on Emirates flight from Dubai to Casablanca. Up to date, 160170 travelers have used their mobile phones while traveling on Emirates aircraft. This new in-flight Emirates service is available on 32 aircraft of Emirates. AeroMobile is available on various aircrafts models of Emirates including Boeings 777-200s and 777-300s, and also the Airbus A340-300, A340-500 and A330-200.

Passengers flying with Emirates can now make calls while being in-flight thanks to AeroMobile. The maiden call was on Emirates flight from Dubai to Cairo onboard Boeing 777-300. 23 aircrafts of the family of Emirates have been equipped with AeroMobile. This adds up to in-flight Emirates entertainment and services provided on board.
