On 22nd April 2010 Alaska Airlines based in the United States has revised its charges for its checked in bags. Passengers flying on either Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air will have to pay £13($20) for the first three checked in bags. In other words, for the first checked in bag passengers will have to pay £3($5) more, £3($5) less for the second and £19 less for the third checked-in bag. The new charges of Alaska Airlines checked-in bags are applicable to those flying as from 16th June. To recall, Alaska Airlines provides air ticket Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and to many more South American cities.

Furthermore, besides application iPhone other applications such as windows mobile users and blackberry will also be available. Thanks to the application iPhone Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, passengers will be able to check their flight status, flight schedules, web check-in and flight alerts. The iPhone application adds to the Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines in-flight entertainment. Alaska Airlines also offers air ticket Honolulu and Miami and passengers can enjoy the beautiful beaches out there.

Horizon Air, the airline based in the United States and a subsidiary of Alaska Airlines is now making available Electronic Boarding Passes and Mobile Check-in to all its passengers. Thus all passengers travelling from Anchorage, Boise, Denver, Las Vegas, Portland, Seattle and Spokane with Horizon Air will have the chance to profit from the Electronic Boarding Passes and Mobile Check-in proposed by Horizon Air. However Horizon Air Electronic Boarding Passes and Mobile check-in will be effective as from 24th February 2010.
