American Airlines, the national airline based in the United States announces the celebration of its AAdvantage frequent flyer program. Many activities will take place in which members can participate. American Airlines’ AAdvantage is the first airline frequent flyer program, it was launched in 1981 and it now offers its members billions of miles through flights, hotels, shopping, restaurants and much more. Frequent flyer members of American Airlines AAdvantage can use their miles towards free flights, can rentals, hotel stays and many other benefits. American Airlines still offers more ways for members to earn and redeem miles such as the ‘One-Way Flex’ and ‘Mileage Multiplier?.’ Passengers travelling with American Airlines will be provided with American Airlines onboard services. Continental Airlines and TAM frequent flyer joint venture took effect on 6th April 2010. With this joint venture, frequent flyer members of both airlines will have the possibility to earn and redeem miles on either flights of TAM or Continental Airlines.
