Up to 7 am tomorrow 16th April 2010, the airspace of the London City Airport will be closed and thus flights suspensions are likely to prevail. The reason for the suspensions of flights at the London City Airport is because of the volcano that broke out in Iceland on 14th April 2010 and volcanic ashes is spreading towards the UK sky and grounds flights at London City Airport. Passengers that are to fly onboard of FlyBaboo, Luxair or any other carriers from London City Airport are requested to check their flight status before heading to the airport in case their flights have been suspended.

Flybaboo, the airline based in Switzerland announced to all its passengers that it received the award of the Best New Airline Award on the 15th February 2010. Moreover Flybaboo Best new airline award was received at the 10th Airline Marketing Workshop by the Athens International Airport. In addition the Best New Airline Award was given to Flybaboo by the greatest number of passengers registered for the year 2009.

The airline based in Geneva, Baboo has been the first airline to fly an Embraer 190 to London City from Geneva. The Embraer 190 of Baboo flew to London City from Geneva on 10th February 2010. The Embraer 190 of Baboo replaces the previously used aircraft for this route from Geneva to London City, the Bombardier Dash 8-Q400.
