The flag carrier of France, Air France will face flight disruption in its flight schedules due to the DGCA strike. The DGCA strike is effective as from today 23rd February to 26th February 2010. Due to the DGCA strike, some of Air France flights will be disrupted. Passengers are therefore requested to check their flights status before heading off to the airport. However, Air France flights departing from Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly on 23rd February will not be disrupted by the DGCA strike.

Flybe, the airline based in the United Kingdom informs to all its passengers that due to the snow flight disruption will be occurred. In other words Flybe announced that Birmingham airport, Cardiff airport, Geneva airport, London Gatwick airport and Southampton airport will be closed down to due snow. Hence any passengers flying with Flybe who booked a flight ticket to travel on Wednesday 13th January 2010 before midday to or from Birmingham, Cardiff, Geneva, London Gatwick or Southampton will not be able to perform their flight due to Flybe flight disruption.
In addition any passenger flying with Flybe facing the flight disruption due to snow may either ask for a refund regarding the flight affected or travel to the final destination at the earliest chance or even travel to the final destination at a later date subject to availability.

Air France, the flag carrier airline of France announced on Wednesday 13th January 2010 that it will face flight disruption in its flight schedules due to the DGCA strike. Moreover the strike of the DGCA has been effective since today Wednesday morning 13th January 2010. Hence besides Air France flight disruption due to DGCA strike, Air France also announced that will be some flight cancellations as well. Nevertheless the strike of the DGCA is expected to come to an end on Friday night 15th January 2010. In other words Air France is forced to announce flight cancellation due to the period during which is the DGCA strike. Thus Air France flights departing from its hub Paris Charles de Gaulle will be disrupted because of the DGCA strike. Furthermore a hotline has been made available by Air France to all its passengers in order to obtain more information concerning the flight disruption or flight status caused by the strike of the DGCA.
