Passengers have the right to ask for a compensation or reimbursement if their flights have been cancelled without notice. The passengers rights concerning long flight delays and cancellations states that a passenger whose flight have been cancelled should be reimburse within 7 days if the flight has not been rerouted. Also, the Europa passengers’ rights affirm that a passenger can ask for accommodation, refreshments, and telephone calls if their flights have been permanently cancelled. Passengers have been empowered by new amended law and regulations by the European Commission to prevent abuse from airlines.

The European Commission, Europa has published legislation for the rights of air passengers. As often seen, air passengers suffers from abuse from airlines such as flight delays, cancellation of flights, lost baggage and many more. To fight these abuses, Europa legislation focuses on the rights of air passengers and empowers them to have adequate compensations. According to Europa legislations, passengers have the right to ask for compensations following the abuse of airlines. For instance, Europa has put forward these laws to remind that passengers also have rights to protect them. Also, the rules and regulations by Europa protect the air passengers of being abused and left stranded at airports.

Ryanair, the Irish low cost airline proclaimed that there might be flight delays or flight cancellations today on Tuesday 22nd December. Ryanair snow flight disruption is mostly to affect travellers. Ryanair is advising to all its passengers to check-in normally even though the heavy snow weather conditions. However if ever there is any flight cancellation, this information will be updated on this notice. Nevertheless Milan Bergamo Airport is closed due to the heavy snow. On the other hand Düsseldorf Weeze Airport is operating with delays even though of the snow. Furthermore London Luton has been opened again after a preceding closure. In addition London Stansted, London Luton and London Gatwick are forecasting the weather to worsen today. Thus if the bad weather conditions persist in the destinations mentioned above there might be more flight delays and more flight cancellations. Hence Ryanair is recommending to all its passengers to check their flight information regularly.
