Based in Mauritius, Air Mauritius has altered its luggage policy on Europe flights. Following the new luggage policy, Air Mauritius will now apply the piece concept on its flights to Europe. Thus, Air Mauritius economy class passengers will be entitled on flights to Europe one piece of luggage of 23kg whereas business class passengers will be entitled three pieces of 23kg as luggage allowance. Air Mauritius frequent flyer members Kestrelflyer Elite and Kestrelflyer Plus will be entitled an extra piece of luggage of 23kg on flights to Europe. However, the maximum luggage Air Mauritius allows is 32kg onboard of flights including that to Europe. This new luggage policy Air Mauritius Europe flights will be effective on tickets bought as from 1st June 2010. The luggage policy of Air Mauritius has been applied on their Europe flight that is on air ticket Paris, air ticket London, air ticket Milan.
