China Airlines has gone into a code share agreement with China Eastern Airlines. With the China Airlines and China Eastern Airlines code share, the two airlines’ subsidiaries Mandarin Airlines and Shanghai Airlines are also included in the agreement to operate code share flights. China Airlines and China Eastern Airlines now operate code share flights from Toayuan International Airport to Shanghai-Pudong, Xi’an, Qingdao, Nanjing, Ningbo, Taipei-Songshan and Shanghai-Hongqiao. With the code share agreement with China Eastern Airlines and other carriers, China Airlines operates 36 round trip cross-strait flights. Besides the code share agreement, China Airlines and China Eastern Airlines are planning to join the SkyTeam Alliance. Based in Taiwan, the carrier China Airlines will propose passengers new flights to Wuhan from Taoyuan. China Airlines Wuhan flights will be effective as from 26th January 2011. The flights will take off from Taoyuan at 1540hrs and will reach Wuhan at 1825hrs. The return flights will then leave from Wuhan at 1935hrs and will arrive in Taoyuan at 2210hrs. China Airlines flights to Wuhan will be carried out twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
