Two of the Oneworld ® member carriers, Japan Airlines based in Japan and Cathay Pacific based in Hong Kong have announced to ameliorate their code share agreement. The amelioration of code share Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific took effect on 1st November 2010. Following the amelioration of code share, Japan Airlines will code share flights of Cathay Pacific between Hong Kong and Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, Penang, Surabaya and Ho Chi Minh City the Asian cities and also Johannesburg, Brisbane, Rome and Milan. Since 31st October, Japan Airlines and Cathay Pacific code share all flights between Japan and Hong Kong.
