Delta Airlines, based in the United States and member of the Skyteam alliance has announced on 2nd September 2010 that it will reconfigure its Boeing 747-400 and will thus offer more comfort to both BusinessElite and Economy class passengers.  During the summer season of 2011 and 2012 all the 16 Boeing 747-400 will be reconfigured and Delta Airlines BusinessElite class will be equipped with new horizontal flat bad seats and economy class passengers will be offered more legroom and also more space under the seats. Last year Delta Airlines has enhanced its in-flight meals onboard of the BusinessElite class and has also enhanced its Japanese meals. Economy class passengers will be provided as Delta Airlines onboard services a seat pitch of 1.5 inches, adjustable headrests and more in-flight entertainment.
