The airline based in Ethiopia, Ethiopian Airlines announced to all its passengers that is its flight ET-409 departing from Beirut to Addis Ababa carrying 82 passengers and 8 crew members on board has gone missing on Monday 25th January 2010. In other words Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-409 Beirut Addis Ababa missing lost contact with the Lebanese air controllers soon after departure. In addition Ethiopian Airlines and its team is trying their best in order to gather all related information concerting Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-409 operating the flight between Beirut and Addis Ababa.

As from the end of October MEA (Middle East Airlines) the national carrier of Lebanon is making available flight departing from Beirut to Baghdad. Moreover MEA flights to Baghdad from Beirut will be operated 4 times a week. In other words MEA will fly between Baghdad and Beirut on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. The flight between Baghdad and Beirut proposed by MEA will take off from Baghdad at 16.20 to arrive in Beirut at 16.55 to then depart from Beirut 12.50 to then reach in Baghdad at 15.20.

The airline based in Amman, Royal Jordanian is proposing a fourth supplementary daily flights departing from Amman to Beirut. Royal Jordanian Beirut additional flights will depart from Amman at 4 p.m. to reach in Beirut at 5 p.m. Hence Royal Jordanian daily flights will depart from Beirut at 5.45 p.m. to reach in Amman at 6.35 p.m. Royal Jordanian, the Oneworld member will also add flights to many other destinations such as Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain in the month of June 2009.
