Bahrain entered into a codeshare agreement with nasair on Damman routes. This agreement will allow both airlines to operate between Damman and Khartoum and Beirut. Following the codeshare/Sharing code agreement Bahrain and nasair, this will provide Bahrain travelers to connect easily on nasair flight-operated to many destinations across the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.

The national airline based in Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air has started offering flights from Bahrain to Basra, Iraq. Gulf Air flights from Bahrain to Basra are offered 4 times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. On Mondays and Wednesdays, using an Embraer aircraft, Gulf Air flights GF 223 leave from Bahrain at 10hr15 to reach Basra at 11hr25 and return flights GF 222 leave from Basra at 12hr10 to reach Bahrain at 13hr25. On Fridays and Saturdays, using an Airbus A319, Gulf Air flights GF 225 leave from Bahrain at 15hr00 to reach Basra at 16hr15 and return flights GF 224 leave from Basra at 17hr00 to reach Bahrain at 18hr15. Passengers on flights from Bahrain to Basra will be offered Gulf Air onboard services.
