The airline based in Qatar, Qatar Airways has been designated by the ENCOM that is the International Air Transport Association’s Environment Committee as an affiliate. Qatar Airways IATA Environment Committee is for a duration of 2 years, where Qatar Airways will be represented on the committee by its Senior Manager Corporate Social Responsibility, Environment & Fuel Optimisation. The IATA system is presently being put into practice and will be available to passengers of Qatar Airways in the near future. In addition, Qatar Airways operates a fleet of 69 Airbus and Boeing aircraft to 82 cities worldwide which will increase in the future and expand to more than 110 aircraft and network will exceed 120 destinations.
