Air Ivoire, the national airline of Côte d’Ivoire proclaimed that its Airbus A321 operating the flight from Abidjan to Paris and Marseille had struck at its right wing in a truck area towing aircraft. Hence due to this incident Air Ivoire is force to hold its flight taking off from Abidjan to Paris and Marseille operated by the Airbus A321 of Air Ivoire. Furthermore Air Ivoire Airbus A321 from Abidjan to Paris and Marseille has been sent at Orly South for technical inspection.

As from 9th September 2009 one of the largest Greek airline, Aegean Airlines is making available a new daily flight between Athens and Istanbul. Aegean Airlines daily flight between Athens and Istanbul will take off from Athens at 14.00 to arrive in Istanbul at 15.15 and will then depart from Istanbul at 16.00 to reach in Athens at 17.20. In addition Aegean Airlines between Athens and Istanbul daily flight will be operated on the aircraft of Aegean Airlines the Airbus A321 having a capacity of 195 passengers.

Turkish Airlines launch summer schedule and new routes

Since Sunday 29th March 2009, Turkey’s national airline, Turkish Airlines launched its summer schedule with the introduction of new routes departing from Istanbul by improving its existing network by proposing its passengers even more flights to destinations served by Turkish Airlines. Thus, Turkish Airlines is expecting an increase in demand for the destinations served by the airline. Hence, in addition to these new routes i.e. Dakar, Sao Paulo, Benghazi and Lviv, Turkish Airlines will be serving 116 international destinations and 36 domestic destinations in the summer season. Furthermore, for the smooth running of the extended flights and the new routes Turkish Airlines will make use of an Airbus A321.
