Tiger Airways low cost airline based in Singapore will introduce flights to Tiruchirappalli as from November 2010. Tiger Airways flights to Tiruchirappalli will be as from £33 ($70) one way ticket. Thus, passengers willing to travel with Tiger Airways on these flights to Tiruchirappalli should book their air tickets so as to travel between 01st November 2010 and 26th March 2011. Tiger Airways will operate flights to Tiruchirappalli four times per week namely on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Moreover besides flights Tiruchirappalli, Tiger Airways also offer air tickets Chennai, Bangalore among others.

Since 20th April 2010 Alitalia, the flag carrier of Italy has resumed its flights to its 353 domestic flights, 106 international flights and 21 intercontinental flights. Eventhough Alitalia resumed its flights, Alitalia advise its passengers to check their flights status before going to the airport. Alitalia passengers affected by the flights cancellation due to the volcanic ashes emission in Iceland, their air tickets will be refunded by Alitalia.
Alitalia onboard services is offering seat pitch of 55.2 to 60 inches in Business Class and seat pitch of 30 inches in Economy Class.
