Passengers will benefit from additional flights from Saint Denis to the Thailand capital, Bangkok with the Reunion Island based airline, Air Austral. A total of 6 additional flights will be proposed by Air Austral from Saint Denis to Bangkok onboard its Boeing 777-200ER. However, these additional flights from Saint Denis to Bangkok will be available for a short period that is from 6th July 2010 to 12th August 2010.

The airline based in Reunion, Air Austral announced that it has purchased 2 new Boeing 737-800. Air Austral 2 new Boeing 737-800 will be delivered in December 2010. Air Austral purchases 2 new Boeing 737-800 in order to replace its 2 aircraft the Boeing 737-300 and the Boeing 737-800 which is currently operating on the medium haul network of Air Austral for routes departing from St Denis to South Africa, Comoros, Madagascar, Mayotte, Mauritius and Seychelles. Air Austral 2 new Boeing 737-800 will be furnished with modular version that in single economy class having a seating capacity of 171 passengers or dual class having a seating capacity of 162 passengers that is 18 passengers in the Business Class of Air Austral and 144 passengers in the Economy Class of Air Austral.

Air Austral the airline based in Reunion Island is now making available flight to Bangkok departing from Reunion Island. Air Austral flight to Bangkok taking off from Reunion Island will be available as from 28th December 2009 until 18th January 2010. Moreover the flight to Bangkok departing from Reunion Island proposed by Air Austral will be operated four times a week. Air Austral flight to Bangkok from Reunion Island will be operated on the aircraft of Air Austral the Boeing B777-200. However Air Austral second flight to Bangkok will be operated by the airline based in Madagascar, Air Madagascar under a code share agreement.
