Thai Airways, based in Thailand and Tiger Airways based in Australia have announced that they will merge. Thai Airways and Tiger Airways merge has been announced yesterday, 2nd August 2010. Following this merge, Thai Airways and Tiger Airways will create a new company which will be named ‘Thai Tiger’. ‘Thai Tiger’ will be based in Bangkok and will be a low cost airline and will start operating flights as from next year. With this merge announced between Thai Airways and Tiger Airways, passengers will benefit from more advantages. To recall, Air Valid helps passengers with luggage Thai Airways thus making passengers know how much weight and bags both as checked and cabin luggage they are entitled to on different flights.
