Etihad Airways, based in the United Arab Emirates and Virgin Blue, based in Australia have signed a code share agreement. The code share Etihad Airways Virgin Blue will take effect as from 1st October 2010. Following this new code share signed between Etihad Airways and Virgin Blue passengers will benefit of better flight connections and also lounge access. Besides the code share of routes and lounge access, Etihad Airways and Virgin Blue will allow passengers to benefit from both carriers’ frequent flyer program. Furthermore, in addition of the code share signed Virgin Blue will offer new flights from Sydney to Abu Dhabi as from February next year and in February 2012 from Brisbane to Abu Dhabi. For the launching of this new code share agreement with Virgin Blue, Etihad Airways proposes promotional air ticket Manchester to Cairns at an air fare of £923 and air ticket London to Sunshine Coast at an air fare of £893 and a few more promotional air tickets. To recall, Air Valid helps passengers with luggage Etihad Airways thus making passengers know how much weight and bags both as checked and cabin luggage they are entitled to on different flights.
