The airlines based in Ethiopia and based in Togo, Ethiopian Airlines and Asky Airlines respectively have announced that they will improve their code share agreement. On certain networks, Ethiopian Airlines code share Asky Airlines will be effective as from 1st September 2010 and on other flights as from 5th September 2010. Ethiopian Airlines together with its code share airline Asky Airlines will offer new flights between West Africa and the worldwide network of Ethiopia as from 1st September. Moreover, as from 5th September passengers of Ethiopia Airlines from Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Cotonou, Abidjan, Banjul and Niamey will be offered better flight connections to Addis Ababa, East Africa, the Middle East, and Asia with the new code partner Asky Airlines. Passengers will now be offered six flights a week to Abidjan three of which will be operated by Ethiopian Airlines and the three others by the code share partner Asky Airlines.
