The United States based airlines and the Belgium based airline, Continental Airlines and Brussels Airlines respectively have signed a code share agreement on 4th August 2010. Continental Airlines and Brussels Airlines code share will begin as from 9th August 2010. Following this code share, Continental Airlines will place its two letter code on some flights operated by Brussels Airlines between Brussels to European cities as well as African cities. Brussels Airlines will also place its code on the daily flights operated by Continental Airlines from Brussels and New York and also to five US cities Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, Fort Lauderdale, Houston and Orlando. Moreover with this new code share agreement, passengers will also be able to earn and redeem miles on either Continental Airlines or Brussels Airlines. Continental Airlines code share flights with Brussels Airlines depart from Brussels at 0945hrs and reach New York at noon.
