The airline based in Turkey, Turkish Airlines and the airline based in the United States, US Airways both members of the Star Alliance signed a codeshare agreement. Turkish Airlines new codeshare US Airways will allow both airlines to use each other’s flight codes. With the codeshare agreement between Turkish Airlines and US Airways, both airlines will start their codeshared flights as from the 01st September 2010. US Airways passengers will be able to travel to Istanbul via Turkish Airlines flights from Frankfurt, Munich and Zurich. Moreover, with the codeshare between Turkish Airlines and US Airways, Turkish Airlines passengers will have access to United States destinations such as Charlotte, Philadelphia and Phoenix via US Airways flights from Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Chicago and New York.
