Aegean Airlines, based in Greece and Continental Airlines based in the United States are now in code share. Aegean Airlines code share Continental Airlines is effective since yesterday, 23rd August 2010. Following the code share agreement, Aegean Airlines will place its code on flights operated by Continental Airlines from New York Newark to Paris Charles de Gaulle and to Rome Fiumicino if approval is given from concerned authorities and also between New York/Newark and Athens. Continental Airlines will also code share flights operated by Aegean Airlines from between Athens and Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini and Chania. Continental Airlines has also announced that it plans to code share flights with Aegean Airlines between Athens and London Heathrow and also between Athens and Munich.
