Based in the United States, Alaska Airlines offers its passengers onboard its flights in-flight wifi. Alaska Airlines in-flight wifi is available on 55 of the carrier’s Boeing 737-800 and 10 Boeings 737-900. All of Alaska Airlines fleet will be equipped with in-flight wifi y the end of this year. Till 31st July 2010, in-flight wifi will be free of charge onboard of Alaska Airlines and after that date a charge of £3.30 ($4.95) depending on the duration of the flight. In-flight wifi onboard of Alaska Airlines is provided by Gogo ® in-flight service. With in-flight wifi, passengers flying with Alaska Airlines can surf through the net, send and receive mails but passengers should have either a laptop or a mobile that is enabled with internet access. Besides, in-flight wifi passengers are provided with other services in order to be entertained throughout the flight such as Alaska Airlines in-flight entertainment. To recall, Air Valid helps passengers with luggage Alaska Airlines thus making passengers know how much weight and bags both as checked and cabin luggage they are entitled to on different flights.
