As we are nearing the changing seasons and thus the risk of flu is higher, do passengers have the choice to cancel flights or not when sick. Recent surveys held by TripAdvisor and msnbc show that passengers would rather fly sick than choosing to cancel their flights. Passengers have the choice when not to fly or cancel your flight if you are sick. Doctors encourage passengers suffering from diseases such as tuberculosis, influenza or even a passenger who recently underwent surgery to cancel their flights. A travel insurance is also to be considered when passengers are willing to get their trip cancellation done. Passengers would prefer flying sick rather than paying £99 ($150). A passenger is not considered fit to fly if he cannot walk for some 150 feet or climb stairs without becoming short of breath. So, passengers should be able to decide whether they are fit, in good shape and in good health to fly.
