Austrian Airlines is now code share agreement with Brussels Airlines, a new member of Star Alliance. Code share between Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines will take effect from 28th March 2010. Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines signed a code share agreement for the Vienna Brussels route. With this code share agreement with Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines will be able to offer more frequencies to its passengers on its route Vienna Brussels. The route Brussels to Vienna by Austrian Airlines will increase to 7 flights per day, including 4 flights in code share agreement with Brussels Airlines. The code share agreement between Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines will also allow passengers of both carriers’ better flight connections to and from Brussels.

First class cabins will be launched on the subsidiary airline of the founding member of Oneworld ® alliance , American Airlines. The first class cabins of American Eagle Airlines will be available on all the CRJ-700. However, the first class cabins will be available only on American Eagle Airlines’ flights from Chicago and Dallas Fort Worth. The air tickets for travel in the first class cabins onboard of American Eagle Airlines are already on sale for travel effective as from 2nd July 2010.

Alaska Airlines in-flight wifi

On 24th February 2010, Alaska Airlines proclaimed that it will offer in-flight wifi onboard of its flights. Alaska Airlines in-flight wifi is offered by Aircell’s Gogo® Inflight Internet. In-flight wifi will first be installed on a Boeing 737-800 of Alaska Airlines and both Aircell and the carrier will verify if it goes work and the Federal Aviation Administration will certify this. Alaska Airlines offers a minimum rate of £ 3.22 ($4.95) in order to access in-flight wifi.
