Code share agreement between Delta Airlines and Virgin Blue

The United States based airline, Delta Airlines and the Australian based airline, Virgin Blue have signed a code share agreement. Delta Airlines and Virgin Blue will be effective as from 10th December 2009. Hence under this code share agreement both airlines, Delta Airlines and Virgin Blue will have the chance to offer flights between Australia and the United States to all its passengers. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) have protected his permission for Delta Airlines and Virgin Blue under this code share agreement. In other words passengers travelling will Delta Airlines and Virgin may profit from flights to Australia and the United States due to Delta Airlines code share Virgin Blue.
