IATA (International Air Transport Association) based in Geneva, Switzerland has announced its economic forecasts for airlines for the year 2010. IATA (International Air Transport Association) is estimating a total loss of 3.2 billions pound sterling for all airlines. Moreover between the year 2000 and the year 2009, all the airlines in the United States recorded a total loss of 30.3 billion pound sterling. Hence this figure signifies an average of 2.7 million pound sterling. Furthermore IATA proclaimed that all airlines should reduce unit costs excluding fuel by 1.3% after analysing the IATA 2010 economic forecasts for airlines. In additional all airlines will stay tightly in the red in 2010 with 3.5 billion pound sterling considered a total loss. IATA (International Air Transport Association) proclaimed that the performance will differ very much in all the regions excluding Africa will notice an improvement in the year 2010 compared to the year 2009. In other words the United States companies will lessen by 1.7 billion pound sterling in the year 2009 compared to the year 2010 which has lessen by 0.90 billion pound sterling. Moreover European companies will make the biggest losses of all regions to 1.4 millions pound sterling among others.
